To the magick user, a sigil is a symbolic image that encodes the magician's intent and can be activated to reach an outcome through magickal means.

From a secular perspective, a sigil can be seen as a symbol; a mark or sign that represents or communicates something beyond itself, the meaning of which is created within the viewer's mind through a process of interpretation.

To the artist, a sigil may function as does any artwork; conveying a concept or eliciting an emotional response.

Each sigil in this series has at its foundation an affirmation, which has been sublimated into an artistic representation steeped in magickal correspondence.
